HOW TO USE OUR CLAY TRANSFER PAPER
- Begin by conditioning your clay and rolling it out on a tile surface.
- Use an acrylic roller to firmly press the clay onto the tile.
- Place the transfer paper face down (colored/printed side touching the clay).
- Gently roll over the paper with an acrylic roller to ensure the design transfers evenly.
Remove the Paper Backing:
- Hold the tile with the clay under a gentle stream of water.
- The paper backing will gradually dissolve.
- Lightly rub away any remaining paper with your finger until the surface is smooth.
- Tip: Use minimal pressure to avoid smudging the design.
- Pat the surface dry with a paper towel.
- Allow the clay to fully dry before cutting. Avoid baking until it is completely dry.
Seal Your Design:
- For longer-lasting designs, apply a sealant.
- Use resin for a glossy finish.
- Opt for a matte sealant for a more subdued look.
Tips for Best Results:
- Colors may shift slightly during the baking process.
- White clay tends to produce the most vibrant and accurate colors.
